Eren Jaegar Archive

  • Phew! Medicom really pulled out all the stops here on their ever growing Real Action Heroes line. There weren’t many new additions, but the few new additions are all phenomenal and must owns, personally, so I’d rather take quality over quantity for once. First up are Eren and Annie joining Mikasa and Levi in the Attack on Titan Real Action Hero line. Both look spot on to their animation models and I love their fabric outfits. Moving on we also have two other new announcements: Ryuuko Matoi from Kill la Kill and Eva Unit 13 from, well, I think you all can figure that one out since the show title is in his name. I’m not gonna lie, Senketsu actually looks pretty badass on the RAH, but those weird slapped on boob circles make this an insta-pass for me just like the figma. Eva Unit 13 though you don’t even need to ask me about since I have almost all of the other Eva Unit RAHs (just missing the limited ones, but I digress…) Also, hidden in the background are a few scaled figures from Medicom, namely, Akane Isshiki and Himawari Shinomiya from Vividred Operation. That’s a lot from one company who’s more known for their vinyl endeavors! [via shingeki_check and 2chan]

  • When you walked into Good Smile Company’s booth on preview night, there was a crowd around one of the display cases. It took a bit of waiting (and, okay, I’ll admit it: some shoving. I’m a New Yorker, so sue me!) to get close, but once you did the reason why was clear: the entire middle shelf was dedicated to Attack On Titan figures! I was really surprised by the amount of prototypes they brought to the con. They had Nendoroids of Mikasa Ackerman and the Colossal Titan, figmas of Mikasa and Eren Jaegar (who isn’t even up for order!), and the big daddy himself: the horrifying “figma” (come on, this thing is a monster!) of Colossal Titan. Why is his head so tiny? Where are his joints?! This thing is gonna keep me up at night.

  • Well, we’ve already taken a look at one of the new Nendoroids at CharaHobby (well, not new, but you know… newly painted)… but we knew there would be more thanks to Kahotan’s teasers! I’m still not used to typing Kahotan instead of Mikatan, though I am definitely thankful that we have less pervy figure commentary. They only had a few Nendos at the event, and most of them were either old news (the Summer Kuji Vocaloids), or ones we knew would be there (Chris Yukine, Kuroko Shirai and Eren Jaegar). But there was one unexpected face! Tomoko Kuroki from Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! (aka Who The Hell Names Their Show With A Title This Freaking Long). We saw her at WonFest, but now… she has headphones! Exciting stuff. [via Akibahobby]

  • CharaHobby is that one event that I always forget about. Wonder Festival, MegaHobby, Comiket, etc, I’m good. CharaHobby comes along and all of a sudden there’s these event pics all over the place on a Friday night and I’m like “oh my god Japan can you just let me watch TV in peace what is going on where is this news coming from?” Thankfully this year I get a little reminder because Good Smile has posted some teasers! Don’t get too excited because they are really boring. First up we’ve got the figma and Nendoroid versions of Eren Jaegar, oh wow. Both announced at Wonder Festival, so it’s not a big shock and GSC seems to be in a rush to get their Titan merch out. Then we’ve got two other Nendoroids, both fully painted: Kuroko Shirai and Chris Yukine (wow that took a long time GSC). Also Nendoroid Petit Mikudayo will be there so prepare for some creepy photos! On a totally unrelated note is it just me or are Kahotan’s pics a lot nicer than Miktan’s? [via Kahotan’s Blog]

  • Kotobukiya stuffed us full of so many teasers very few of the figures in this post are going to come as a surprise. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t awesome! Especially Dark Angel Olivia, uhnf. We’ve also got Colette Brunel, Shiki Ryougi, Sumika Kagami, the bunny version of Kasumi Yashiro and Tomo Asama. We’ve shown you the rest already: their ArtFX J line, the Tony Taka reveals, and the Bakemonogatari girls. Of course we have some announcements! It seems they have (at least for the moment) stopped their Angelic Island line and are moving on to the hot new idol property, Love Live! School Idol Project. They’ll be doing swimsuit figures of Umi Sonada, Kotori Minami and Honoka Kousaka who are all pretty cute. Now… for the big announcement: ArtFX J Attack on Titan! Yes, that means BOYS BOYS BOYS YEAAH. Eren Jaegar and Levi, to be more specific. That should help balance out all the Mikasa merch! [via AmiAmi’s Facebook]
