Eriri Spencer Sawamura Archive

  • Welcome to Fantasia Festival 2017, aka “it’s a lot of Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata figures” 2017. The star of the show is definitely Max Factory’s ridiculously dynamic Eriri Spencer Sawamura. And the detail level! Her manga pages are even fully illustrated (and, um, a little NSFW). We also have Good Smile’s “Hot Limit” version of Eriri, and FREEing’s 1/4 bunny scale of her. It’s kind of the Eriri Festival, huh? We also had some chibis from Phat! Company, along with two art announcements from Kadokawa of (you guessed it) Eriri and Utaha Kasumigaoka. [via figsoku]

  • 2018 seems like it is going to be the Year of the Sitting Figures for Good Smile. A shocking amount of their sculpts are just hanging around! I actually prefer sitting gals (easier to display a full shelf with height variety) so it’s good news for me. We saw a few of their figures already, like the ones at Fate/History and Mikus, but we got a lot more. Quite a few of their announcements are now sculpted: the “old” version of Kiss-Shot, birthday Rem, Megumi Katou, the Hot Limit girls (Sonico, Uzuki, & Eriri), Anastasia from Cinderella Girls, Izetta, Phosphophyllite, and Kouhai-chan. But the new announcements are what grabbed my attention. We have a wedding Louise (!! when was the last time she got a figure), Shuvi Dola from No Game No Life, Emilia from Re;Zero, and Akari Kawamoto. Oh, and uh… a Groot & Rocket Raccoon scaled figure. [UPDATE] Added the Your Name duo to the gallery [via whl4u]

  • It seems like every year Good Smile goes bigger and bigger. We’ve already seen their Fate/Grand Order scales, but they have over 25 others at the event. So let’s just dive right in! A massive amount of the announcements are from Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata: Utaha Kasumigaoka, Eriri Spencer Sawamura, Michiru Hyoudou, and Megumi Katou are all getting swimsuit figures. There will also be a figure of Eriri in the very strange ‘Hot Limit’ line that also includes Uzuki Shimamura (with floating boobs!) and Sonico. Speaking of Sonico, her wedding figure is painted. So disappointed: I wish she was less tacky, because the sculpt is gorgeous. Moving on, we have Albedo painted, along with the teased Miku Hatsune and Vira. Their Rem from Re:Zero will of course have a matching Ram, and they’ll give us (of course) a second Rem–the birthday cake version. From KanColle there’s Warspite and Shigure, and some other weapon-wielding ladies like Arisa from Shadowverse & Izetta from Shuumatsu no Izetta. Both Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana from Kimi no Na wa will also be getting figures. Not enough? Well, there’s more! Wilhelmina and Mei Irizaki from High School Fleet, an amazing diorama from Dead Dead Demon’s Dededededestruction, Sayaka & Kyouko,¬†Phosphophyllite from Houseki no Kuni. Damn, that’s a lot of figures! [via whl4u]

  • Aniplex’s unveil of new girls in the Maiko line has been kind of a bumpy ride. First it was just the mystery outlines. Then we got “oh, one of them is Rin!” So we assume the others are also Fate/Stay Night? Nope! They’re from other series! Aniplex, what are you doing. Now, finally we are getting a full art unveil. There is, of course, Rin–but we’re getting a Saber too! Even though Rin is best girl. Then we have 3 girls from Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata: Utaha Kasumigaoka, Eriri Spencer Sawamura, and Megumi Katou. I love the art for all of them! But my wallet, it cries. [via Aniplex]

  • Good Smile’s NicoNico boradcasts usually contain a whole lot of figmas and Nendoroids, and little in the way of anything else. But this month they’re mixing it up–we’ve got only one Nendoroid and 2 scaled figures! Pure madness. The Nendo is Chino Kafuu from Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? (aka Is The Order A Rabbit?) and she looks hella cute. The little bunny on her head! Precious! Then we have Good Smile Company’s newest Miku Hatsune, the Greatest Idol Version. I always think I’m going to get so tired of Miku and never buy another figure but once again they’ve sucked me back in. The energy of the sculpt and happy vibe really reminds me of LAT-type Miku, one of my favorites. Then, last but not least, we have Eriri Spencer Sawamura from Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. The sculpt is lovely and she really does look nice, but overall it’s a little plain for my collection. What do you guys think? [via mfc]

  • Back at last summer’s Wonder Festival, Good Smile Company announced a figure of Eriri Spencer Sawamura from Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. Usually we get updates from them every six months (aka every Wonder Festival), but Eriri was missing in action at the recent Winter Wonder Festival. Now, 9 months after her art was first shown off, we’re getting an announcement! Based on the art, I thought this might be one of those simpler figures that I totally fall in love with. But the sculpt is… just okay. I think her twintails look very chunky and unfinished compared to the illustration, and it generally just looks unrefined. Hopefully they add in some more detail and keep her paint true to the art! [via gsc_kyojin’s Twitter]
