  • <p><a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/miyazawa-model-expo-fall-2016-event-overview/attachment/mixedheader" rel="attachment wp-att-79324"></a></p> <p>We saw what <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/miyazawa-model-expo-fall-2016-good-smile-company-co" target="_blank">Good Smile Company & co</a> and <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/miyazawa-model-expo-fall-2016-vertex" target="_blank">Vertex</a> brought to Miyazawa Model, but of course a few others showed up as well! Though it seems like everyone else was limited to one or two new figures up their sleeves. Kotobukiya had just a handful of new stuff: Wilhelmina Braunschweig Ingenohl Friedeburg (why with this naming) from <em>High School Fleet</em>, aka “that <em>KanColle</em> ripoff” and…. Spike is finally painted!</p> <p>Revolve didn’t have much, but they did have announcements for Rem & Ram from <em>Re:Zero</em>. Aoshima had a lovely Izetta from <em>Shuumatsu no Izetta</em> on display, and Medicom had out their Gary/Blue/whatever you want to call him. Pulchra announced two new Vocaloids: Yukari Yuzuki and… a different figure of Yukari.     Miyazawa Model Expo Fall 2016: Event Overview

    We saw what Good Smile Company & co and Vertex brought to Miyazawa Model, but of course a few others showed up as well! Though it seems like everyone else was limited to one or two new figures up their sleeves.     All The Goodies At The 45th Prize Fair

    Of course the highlight of Phat! Company’s booth was their amazing IDOLM@STER girls, but they rocked pretty much everything. I have to admit, they’re fast becoming one of my favorite companies.     Check Out The Goodies From The 44th Prize Fair

    You  know what they say: new season, new prize fair! Okay, so only I say that, but it’s basically true. Prize Fairs are a never-ending event that seem to strike when the weather changes.     How many prize fairs are there even in a year? 4? 6? One every damn month? Sometimes it seems like that. I mean, the chances that any of them will get made into PVC are pretty slim, but hey, we can dream! And salivate over how freaking perfect some of these are. That Ranko, man!</p> <p>Some of the trends were pretty obvious: there’s a lot of Miku Hatsune and quite a bit of Sailor Moon. We also saw, of course, some <em>Evangelion</em>, <em>Fate/Stay Night</em> and <em>Bakemonogatari</em>. More surprising was the lack of some things: we have a bit of <em>Love Live!</em> and <em>IDOLM@STER</em>, but not as nearly as much as I’d expect. And there’s also one Monster Musume figure: I thought that show was basically made to make figures from, but this is literally the first item we’ve seen from it. Maybe there will be more at Wonder Festival?</p> <p>Also, we usually like to focus on the good kits here, but I’ve included a truly, startlingly horrible one for you at the end. It involves boobs literally floating toward heaven.
