Maybe “corrupted warrior” just doesn’t sell as well as “sexy maid.” Good Smile really nailed the pose on this one, so I couldn’t wait to get her. However, her release was not too long after the Black Rock Shooter star fiasco, so would she come out as nicely as their Lily and Triumphant Excalibur?

And mere hours later, the pre-order period has already started for both the international site and Volks USA! The order period is until October 31st Japan time, which means that the US site will stop taking orders on the 3oth. That’s still a very long time for anyone who needs to make up their mind on these dolls!

Both look gorgeous, but my preference is definitely for Saber Extra. She’ll retail for $759 and you can find her on the US site here. The chance to get a once-limited Dollfie Dream in an open order period is unheard of, and even Saber Extra is using the original headmold for all those that missed out on the original Saber. [UPDATE] Volks’ Type-Moon Pre-Order Project Starts!

We also got our first look at Saber Extra, who looks flat out amazing. Lastly, Saber Alter has taken a slight jump in price from the announced ¥59,000 to ¥62,000, which isn’t too bad and still makes both of these incredibly reasonably priced. For doll buyers, the price could mean the difference between getting both or getting just one, so the community has been waiting with bated breath.

Well, the site has just updated with the information, and both dolls are surprisingly affordable! Saber Extra will retail for ¥69,000 and Saber Alter will be ¥59,000. I’m expecting the US prices to be a bit over $700 for Extra and around $600 for Alter. We also have information about the body type they will be using, and no one should be surprised that it is the DDIII! Saber Alter will have an M bust, but Extra will have an L, making her the first of 4 Sabers to be busty! Saber Alter is also using the original Saber headmold, though no word if she will have updated faceup. Saber Extra also might be using the same headmold, though it really seems like they should do something new for her. I’d really like to see them do a new fierce one, or at least use the updated Lily face!

They also announced pricing on the outfits we saw for Saber Alter. The jogging/track suit will be ¥8,800 and the swimsuit is ¥2,800. And if that wasn’t enough, it seems like Saber Extra will come with 2 sets of eyes–I am guessing normal and her “crazy” eyes. It looks like we are getting closer and closer to actual pictures of these girls, as well as an order date!

[via Volks]
