PVC Pre-Order Roundup: 2/10~2/14

With the madness of Wonder Festival last week, there wasn’t exactly a whole lot of time to work on a roundup! Instead, we’re bringing you a double-packed roundup this week, featuring highlights from the past 2 weeks. Thankfully this week was a bit sparse, since companies took the first half off to recover from the event.

We do, of course, have a whole lot going on! There’s lots of ladies and even a few boys, cheap figures and expensive figures, giant ones and tiny ones and everything in between, so check them all out after the jump!

In fact, we pretty much only had 2 companies representing the prize figure world: Taito and Banpresto. Taito didn’t have any new information, but we do have the sculpts for their new Persona 4 Area figures! Elizabeth in particular is looking pretty awesome.

To make up for the lack of content, Banpresto brought way more stuff than usual! We’ve got the franchises we always see, like Fate/Zero, One Piece, Precure and Macross, but they had lots of other goodies too. The ones that catch my eye are the dearth of Pokemon figures: everything from plushes (including the new Eevelution, that was fast) to the awesome Eevee in the header to N himself! Oh, and they are also working on a fantastic looking SQ prize for Soniko, making up for the crazy expensive Ichiban Kuji one!

[via xx_bo_ri_xx's Twitter]

MegaHouse’s Waver Velvet was just announced in magazine scans, and already he’s completed. Talk about a speedy painjob. Personally, I have to say that this version doesn’t hold a candle to Alter’s super-moe Waver, but I do know quite a few people who prefer this one! Actually it’s kind of three: as you may or may not have noticed, we didn’t have a August loot post either. I’ll be honest, I was never that excited at the announcement of a Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero in Alter’s Altair line. The show bored me to tears and I just couldn’t get on board with his character. Plus his design falls a bit flat for me, so even with Alter’ usual attention to detail he’s just… not doing it for me.

That is, until I saw the extras. He comes with a MINI RIDER and a blushing face! Ahh, so cute. Like, to die for cuteness levels over here. Damn you Alter, getting me to hop on board with figures I didn’t even wants!

[via runrun_run]
