In an unexpected move they have made a Caster from Fate/Extra, a character that’s pretty hard to put in doll-form. They’ve done a very nice job though, rendering her tail & ears in PVC instead of fur so they hold their shape. The face is also really cute and quite accurate to her design.

She is sadly an exclusive to Hobby Channel & Hobby Japan, so she’ll end up costing a lot more than her already-high retail of ¥13,650. Orders open on the 24th and will close on May 10th, with release scheduled for September. Thankfully she is on their large body, putting her at about 11″ tall, and it seems like they’ve added a larger bust as well!

[via Hobby Channel]

It seems like they probably had their Persona 4 Nendoroid and figma lines done for a while, but saved the big reveal for the event–while on one hand it’s great that fans are getting so much merchandise, the sudden rush is starting to feel a bit like overkill. Probably because there’s so little variety–Yukiko has tons of outfits, yet every single one to come out so far is in the winter school uniform. Hopefully the Beach Queen won’t be wearing that as well!

Complaints aside, this Nendo is looking great. Yukiko comes with the expressions you’d expect: a stoic face, a slightly smiling face, and a laughing-so-hard-she-might-explode face. She also comes with a pair of Teddie’s joke glasses, regular glasses, and a fan. This is pretty much everything you’d think she would come with, though I am a little disappointed she doesn’t have a bowl of instant udon–fried tofu flavor, of course! However, this is easily fixed with some ReMent. Yukiko will be going up for order on the 21st! I’m really hoping that we get more MegaTen Nendoroids, but for now Jack Frost and Yukiko should be enough to tide over fans.

[via Mikatan]

Kotobukiya’s Tekken Bishoujo Alisa Bosconovitch Is Sculpted!

Kotobukiya has been teasing their Bishoujo Alisa Bosconovitch from Tekken for quite some time: we first saw her at SDCC along with Christie, and an alternate colorway was shown off in art-form at NYCC. Yoshimitsu was shown off in two different statues, one, the painted one, to show off his color scheme and paint detail, and another, unpainted, to show off the actual final sculpt, which is much more detailed.
