    Cleanse Your Soul With The Seven Heavenly Virtues

    Hobby Japan’s figure line of the Seven Deadly Sins has been a smash hit. There were several recolors for most of the Sins, then the alternate versions… it ended up being a lot more than the 7 figures we initially expected. And my wallet was not happy about it. But now we have more financial suffering to look forward to, because Nishii has a new collaboration with HJ: the Seven Heavenly Virtues!

    It’s finally happened, guys! Magazine scans that aren’t 90% MegaHouse and 10% stuff we don’t care about. But you know what they say: be careful what you wish for. Sure, there’s lots of companies here, but there’s almost nothing new. Usually we get at least one or two figure reveals and a lot of new sculpts/paint. This time? Yeah, almost all of this was at Wonder Festival.

    We have some figmas, FREEing’s Lyrical Nanoha figures (I feel like we haven’t had a scaled Nanoha girl in ages!), lots of Love Live!, some Kantai Collection, and of course lots of MegaHouse-centered pages. Almost all of MH’s stuff is One Piece or Dragonball Z (their new Bulma is painted!), though the new Digimon trading figures did make an appearance. What is up with them? Why a toilet?

    The Bikini Warriors line has been TEARING ME APART, LISA. I think the concept is incredibly stupid, but I love the designs. However, they’re all freaking exclusives and cost an arm and a leg. So even though I want them, I can’t get them! Because I don’t have room in my budget for a $150 half-naked lady! I just don’t. It’s killing me. Especially when they announced the Tony Taka one, because we know I am all about that life.

    A new year, a new batch of magazine scans! Sadly with 2016 we aren’t getting any good changes. AKA, it’s still almost all MegaHouse. I miss old scans so bad, guys, but I need to get over it! Just appreciate what we’ve got! Because there’s a lot of nostalgia here. I mean, there’s the usual One Piece figures (including some totally over the top anatomy as per usual), yet another figma Kirito (we totally need that), and Alpha x Omega’s Eri!

    Then… nostalgia train. We’ve got Digimon, Dragonball Z, and Pokemon. Lots and lots of Pokemon. Ash and Misty are here, of course, with basically no updates. But we’ve got new ones!
