In last month’s magazine scans, Orchid Seed made a shocking announcement: they were planning a second colorway of their popular Ignis of the Eternal Winter. I mean, who would expect a recolor from Orchid Seed! What’s next, a red version?! Okay, so it wasn’t a surprise to anyone. However, it is a bit surprising that this is an exclusive… but not to Wonder Festival. Usually their figures go “original colorway, WonFest limited, third (best) colorway.” However, this “Nimbus of the Eternal Night” colorway is a Hobby Japan exclusive, which does make her a bit easier to get.
Her retail is ¥12,399 to start, so she’s not going to come cheap. There’s a special edition for ¥13,400 that comes with a special poster, and for not a whole lot more thankfully. She’ll come out in December, and proxies should list her shortly. I do like the black dress, but I’m not 100% sold on the blonde hair.
[UPDATE] Updated with better pics–Orchid had really started to sell me on this colorway!
