  • <p><a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/summer-wonfest-2016-plum/attachment/plumheader-3" rel="attachment wp-att-77370"></a></p> <p>I am usually not that excited for PLUM’s event lineups, but after <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/plums-summer-wonder-festival-2016-teasers" target="_blank">their teasers</a> this year? Yeah, I wanted to see that Lancer pretty badly. I love her design, and thankfully the final figure does not disappoint! The paint is just so lovely and detailed. I actually think I like the sculpt for <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/summer-wonfest-2016-ques-q" target="_blank">ques Q’s Lancer</a> a bit better, but I don’t know if they will beat this paintjob.</p> <p>Then we have Caster, who is… less exciting. I just don’t think her design looks like the rest of the F/SN girls and she kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.     Summer WonFest 2016: PLUM

    Ah, ques Q. The company I always want to love but never end up buying stuff from. Given some of their cute Wonder Festival sculpts, though, I feel like my ques Q collection is about to climb. I mean, the Lancer alone is to die for! But we also have a very cute Show by Rock figure, God-Hand from 7th Dragon, so much Kantai Collection (tons of sculpts and, like, 8 announcements), a super cute Alice Cartelet, and many more. Including a Raita figure I have strong feelings about.

It’s a combination of having ordered some of their first few figures (which were… not the best) and the fact that they still only seem to be mid-level quality. But recently they’ve been trying for more elaborate and interesting sculpts, which seems to be the trend for their WonFest teasers!

    They only have two, but both look pretty awesome. We’ve got Lancer and Caster from Fate/Grand Order: lancer is painted and oh my god I’d seriously believe you if you told me it was an Alter teaser. It’s from MegaHouse! Their Lancer, which was announced in <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-october-2012" target="_blank">magazine scans</a>, seems to be nearly ready for action already… and Mikatan has the exclusive scoop. Weird, right?</p> <p>Well, we also have shots of all their other Miyazawa Model stuff, but <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/good-smile-company-co-preview-some-of-their-new-figures" target="_blank">we’ve already seen it</a>. Still, you can check them out in the gallery! So really, it’s just Lancer we care about! Rider was a bit too buff for my taste but I am really liking the sculpt here so far.     In a strange turn of events, the figure we’re looking at today on Mikatan’s blog isn’t by Good Smile Company or any of their umbrella companies. It’s from MegaHouse! Their Lancer, which was announced in magazine scans, seems to be nearly ready for action already… and Mikatan has the exclusive scoop. Weird, right?
