Welcome to another installment of Nendoroid Adventures, where the smallest and cutest members of the figure community explore the big, beautiful world! We’ve got a lovely mix of photos this time and a surprising lack of Miku Hatsune. Well, she’s still there, but not as frequently as usual! We actually have some boy Nendoroids this time as well. We’ve got Erio, Charlotte, Rin, Len, Kyoko, Sayaka, and even more. Check them all out in the gallery!

It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even remember when they were supposed to be released. I do know that for both these ladies, it’s over a six month delay period since they’ve been pushed back from April to May. So, for example, we might not get some of our January stuff until the beginning of March (yet mysteriously it will be with not just February but March items as well). You may have noticed that we skipped a January loot post: well, that’s because we didn’t even get all our figures from it until a few days ago!</p> <p>But thankfully January and February seemed to be smaller months than most, so we’re just going to combine them into a mega loot post! ![<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-35149 slb_group[35142] slb slb_internal" href="http://www.plastikitty.com/?attachment_id=35149"></a></p> <p>Alter’s Princess of the Crystal was <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/summer-wonder-festival-2012-alters-princess-of-crystal" target="_blank">love at first sculpt</a>, even before I knew she was done by Yagyuu Toshiyuki, my very favorite sculptor. Her <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-november-2012" target="_blank">painted scans</a> were even better than I imagined, and I’ve been tensely waiting for actual preview images and a release date. Well, they’re finally here!</p> <p>The best part (aside from the stunning face, billowing skirt and gorgeous coloring of course) is the inventive means of holding her heavy skirt up–instead of unsightly poles, we get her penguins! They can also be displayed on their own holding an apple. However, we just got word of a TON of delays, and it seems like GSC has hit some production snags and is looking to fix them. Now, I’d just like to say that my stance on delays is different from most people: I welcome them! I’d rather wait a few extra months than get a figure with sub-par quality.</p> <p>Anyway, onto the delays! <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/goddess-madoka-is-finally-painted-and-ready-for-order" target="_blank">Goddess Madoka</a> was pushed back to December (no surprises there). The <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/good-smile-company-is-re-releasing-shiki-saber-lion" target="_blank">Shiki re-release</a>, <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/good-smiles-sena-i-want-to-believe" target="_blank">Sena</a>, and the <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/good-smile-companys-18-princess-of-crystal-is-painted" target="_blank">Princess of Crystal</a> are all January now. The <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/good-smile-announces-a-trio-of-re-releases" target="_blank">Golden Caliburn re-release</a> was moved all the way back to February, and Max Factory’s <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/type-moon-fest-max-factorys-kiritsugu-saber-zero-re-release" target="_blank">Saber and Kiritsugu duo</a> are January. Their <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/max-factorys-tomo-asama-needs-some-fashion-advice" target="_blank">Tomo</a> is also January, and <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/max-factorys-medaka-has-really-big-hair" target="_blank">Medaka</a> is February. Aside from Medaka, these were all originally 2012 releases! ![<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-33113 slb_group[33042] slb slb_internal" href="http://www.plastikitty.com/?attachment_id=33113"></a></p> <p>Treasure Festa is mostly a garage kit event, so it makes sense that we really only had <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/treasure-festa-in-kobe-4-griffon-enterprise" target="_blank">one piece of news</a> from it. Of course, just because there was no new PVC info to speak of doesn’t mean that there aren’t things worth drooling over! While it’s not quite as big as, say Wonder Festival, there were a massive amount of garage kits at the event. To no one’s surprise Touhou Project, <em>Madoka Magica</em>, and Miku Hatsune led the pack in number of kits. In fact, Touhou kind of overwhelmed Treasure Festa! There were also many custom figma accessories, a really cool idea.
