This is her<em> Shining Blade</em> version, but as we saw <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-november-2012" target="_blank">in magazine scans</a> it’s actually a resculpt/second version of their original figure from 2009. Whenever they announce a new figure, <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/megahouse-announces-3-new-gintama-figures" target="_blank">like Kagura</a>, I go ‘meh.’ However, after seeing the sculpt for her I am quite pleased! She looks perfectly elegant and not at all tacky, with a simple but interesting pose that will keep her price low without entering dull territory. Definitely considering picking up this one!</p> <p>[via <a href="http://twitpic.com/bg7tu4" onclick="javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http://twitpic.com']);" target="_blank">figure_maniacs</a>]</p>

MegaHouse’s Waver Velvet was <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-november-2012" target="_blank">just announced in magazine scans</a>, and already he’s completed. Talk about a speedy painjob. Personally, I have to say that this version doesn’t hold a candle to <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/animate-girls-festival-2012-alters-waver-velvet" target="_blank">Alter’s super-moe Waver</a>, but I do know quite a few people who prefer this one! The book is a nice choice, and I do like his determined face. Though the fact that he’s an exclusive will probably make the decision a lot easier for a ton of people.</p> <p>[via <a href="http://futaba.anacel.com/figure/pixmicat.php?res=240842" onclick="javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http://futaba.anacel.com']);" target="_blank">Figure/GK</a>]</p>
