When MegaHouse gets their claws into a license they milk it for all it’s worth. For Fate/Zero fans this is great news, as they announced not just scaled figures at MegaHobby but also a set of chibis! This is part of their ‘Petit Chara Land’ and it features Saber (of course), Gilgamesh, Rider, Waver Velvet, Emiya Kiritsugu, and Lancer. I love the designs here, and it will be fun to have more stylized versions of the characters. Currently, Lancer is the only one that doesn’t have a scaled figure or action figure… but considering the success of Fate/Zero I doubt that will continue for long!

They’ve been working on the whole cast in designs from <em>Idolm@ster 2</em>, and it seems like Chihaya Kisaragi is next in the lineup! To be honest, I’m not really thrilled with the pose and outfit they went with here, and at least in my eye she’s the dullest of the ones they’ve released so far. HOORAY! This was a strictly no-photograph item so we are only going to post the announcement, though there’s not really much to see: it’s an outline of him, and both Gilgamesh and Rider are currently unsculpted. Hopefully we won’t have long to wait! They have currently been working on Hunter x Hunter, and next in their lineup is Hisoka! He looks good, but the shininess of this prototype is a little goofy. It’s really no surprise, but they have finally announced that they are going to add her to the lineup. THIS IS NOT THE RIDER I WANT. *ahem* MegaHouse has figure at MegaHobby that is strictly Do Not Photograph, but the news has already leaked: they are doing a 1/8 scale Rider… from <em>Fate/Zero</em>. Yeah, the big redheaded guy, probably to go with <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/megahobby-expo-spring-2012-alters-waver-velvet" target="_blank">Alter’s Waver</a>. Of all the Servant/Master combos in <em>Zero</em> was this REALLY the one they had to go with? We’ve got two new versions of Tony Chopper (what a shocker!), a new Nico Robin, Rob Lucci, Shillew, Eustass Kid, and Killer. The Portrait of Pirates line isn’t really my thing, but I do think that she sculpts have been improving a LOT recently. Not because I was excited or anything, but because it’s hilarious to have such a girlie character in the Altair line.
