Mikuru Archive

So far it’s been limited to the Haruhi cast, with Haruhi herself, Yuki and Mikuru making appearances. There was a 4th addition to the line at Tamashii Nations, and a rather creepy one: Kyon’s little sister. Now, I have nothing against lolis–I own quite a few loli-figures. But Kyon’s sister is just… you know, actually supposed to be very young, so having her in a hot pink, skin-tight bunny suit rubs me the wrong way. She’s a child, for god’s sake!

Anyway, let’s get on to the stuff that doesn’t bother me! First off, Cecilia Alcott from Infinite Stratos was shown off in her mecha suit, and the other 4 girls were announced as well. That’s right, Bandai is doing the entire IS cast! Fans should be thrilled, because I know a lot of people who really really wanted all the girls in full mech gear.

Last, and most importantly (for me) is the Gundam Girls! There was an artbook featuring girl/Gundam mashups a while back, and finally we’re getting some figures from it. There’s a female Wing Gundam, which is featured in the header, and RX-78GP3 Dendrobium, who is packing some serious heat. Both of these look great, and I think this is going to be a great line overall!

[via Hobbystock]

For the first half, we had literally nothing but NSFW figures and re-releases go up for order, which is unusual to say the least! Usually we get one or 2 NSFW figures per a roundup, but this week 4 went up within a few days of each other. Then we got spammed with surprise re-releases, one of which I really didn’t expect!

As the week went on we got some “normal” additions to the pre-order lineup, like a… very busty beach queen? Followed up by two figures who were both re-releases AND NSFW! What is this, boob week? Then, to round off the week, we got MORE RE-RELEASES. Thankfully, Kotobukiya must have seen what an odd week it was because they offered up some sexy boys. Funnily enough, it ended up not being the week of boobs or the week of re-releases, but the week of Griffon! Out of the 18 figures that went up for order, a whopping 7 of them were from Griffon. So what did we get this week? Hit the jump and find out!

August was our biggest month ever for figure orders, as we ended up with both of our AmiAmi orders and a flood of exclusives that all seemed to come out at once.
