@GeekeryDo: @mikeyturvey I agree with you. I stopped reading them because I got tired of it, though @Sir_Narwhal is correct that it's normal for comics.

@GeekeryDo: @Sir_Narwhal @mikeyturvey yeh but that's just one arc and it's easy to read it all since, as you said, it's been put together like that.

@NFern0: @Sir_Narwhal Sounds like (ohoho) specialist equipment. Black Friday is more mass consumer oriented isn't it?

mini pork dumpling Archive

I absolutely adore Shawnimals’ Pork Dumping design, especially the mini versions they have been putting out in collaboration with mphlabs and Squibbles Ink. I did wonder, though, why there wasn’t a blind-boxed series since Shawnimals has done similar series in the past. Well, at last, here it is! These seem to be similar in size to the mph ones (the last of which were the C2E2 dumping and the Easter set), and there are a ton of different designs just from what we are seeing here. They definitely look good enough to eat and there seems to be tons of variety–I know I’ll definitely be picking up a case!

It’s the Year of the Dragon, which means dragon-themed figures out the wazoo! The vinyl world loves celebrating Chinese New Year with shiny new figures, and the Dragon seems to have a whole lot of potential in terms of toys. One of my favorite figures in recent memory, the Shawnimals mini Lucky Pork Dumplings, are getting the Dragon treatment as well!
There have been two previous sets of these cuties–the Halloween NYCC ones and some cute snowy versions. This time they are, of course, dragon-themed. There are two versions: the standard yellow Lucky Fu Dragon and a gold-tinted Chinese New Year Dragon. Since these two are so similar they will be blind-boxed instead of individual releases, with 60 of each colorway, so your chances are pretty much 50/50 for each one you purchase. They are $12 each and will go up for sale on January 23rd at 2PM EST at both the Shawminals store and myplasticheart.
