AmiAmi has this nasty habit of combining our orders into big glumps that overlap between months. So, for example, we might not get some of our January stuff until the beginning of March (yet mysteriously it will be with not just February but March items as well). You may have noticed that we skipped a January loot post: well, that’s because we didn’t even get all our figures from it until a few days ago!
But thankfully January and February seemed to be smaller months than most, so we’re just going to combine them into a mega loot post! Check it all out after the jump.

Sometimes I want to grab a company by the (theoretical) shoulders and shake some sense into them. One of my more recent pet peeves has been the ridiculous amount of Nanoha figures Good Smile and Max Factory have been spewing out, all of which are essentially slightly better version of things we already have. Instead of, you know, new characters or even the ubiquitous Fate & Nanoha in other outfits. Fate and Nanoha all grown up? Yes please! More lolis? Kill me now.
Funnily enough these versions of Fate & Nanoha, which we saw first at Wonder Festival, are the best looking ones yet. Those weapons! I really don’t understand why they made those figmas last year of Fate and Nanoha, since these are just essentially improved versions of those. How annoying! Well, at least I didn’t buy those Fates. Each will be ¥3,500 with a July release, expect orders tonight!

I have such a love-hate relatipnship with magazine scans. On one hand, it’s so much fun to see all the new goodies! On the other, it’s 3 in the morning and I wanted to catch up on Supernatural but instead I’m cropping photos. Ah, what a hard life us toy bloggers lead! Truly, we suffer for our art.
Let’s face it magazine scans the month of a Wonder Festival will be the dullest of the year. Half the stuff we’ve already seen, and there are very few new reveals. However, that doesn’t mean there is nothing at all! Some companies, like Alter, apparently think it’s fun to save their most interesting sculpt for scans instead of the event, and we’ve got double Nyaruko along with a lot more goodies!

Well after the abomination that was last week, companies had a lot to make up for this time around–and they delivered! We have a particularly packed roundup for you this week, with tons of beautiful ladies and four (yes FOUR) Nendoroids! We’ve got magical girls, animal girls, girls with guns, girls in swimsuits, and one lone boy. So hit the jump and let’s get started!

Yaaaawn, another Nanoha from Alter. Usually I am Alter’s biggest fangirl but honestly, I am just bored with Nanoha now. This is actually a companion piece to their stunning loli swimsuit Fate, yet somehow Nanoha doesn’t even remotely live up to the standard Fate set. Seriously, if I saw these pictures without knowing it was Alter I would never in a million years guess it was them.
It makes sense, though, to complete this set after how well their grownup Fate and Nanoha sold. But at this point I am swimsuit-Nanoha’d out. Esepcially since both Gift and ques Q have done very similar figures! I just want a swimsuit Vivio.

December was (obviously) the last month of 2012, and boy was it a doozy. Even with the massive amount of delays that came late in the year it was just totally jam-packed with releases. In fact, this might actually be our biggest month of orders… ever. Well, maybe excluding July of 2010, where we had an entire wall of loot from SDCC. But in terms of imports, yeah, it’s a bit overwhelming! So hit the jump to check out all the goodies.

Welcome to two months of loot in one! Actually it’s kind of three: as you may or may not have noticed, we didn’t have a August loot post either. It’s a long story, but basically AmiAmi has been smushing our orders together oddly so we get things late (but some early–most of our October was here before the September items). So some August items squeaked their way in! Hit the jump to get started on our most action-packed loot post yet.

A while back we took a look at some amazing Nanoha & Fate Ichiban Kuji sculpts. I was especially impressed with Fate, who looked so dynamic and interesting. Now they’re painted, and I am ever more impressed! Fate is just gorgeous, I love the coloring, and the matching Nanoha is no slouch either. This set of prizes will also include chibis of Nanoha, Fate, Vita, Signum, Shamael, and a mystery figure. I wonder who it could be, maybe Vivio?
The lottery is set for January, so we really have a long wait before we even know how much the after-market pricing will be. Based on past Nanoha sets I am guessing around ¥5,000 for Fate & Nanoha, and maybe ¥800 for the chibis. No matter the price, though, I have to own that Fate!

Welcome to a week of fabulous flying ladies! We’ve got ladies with mechanical wings, butterfly wings, even feathered wings… on their waist! In fact, we’ve also got not one but two sky-high Nendoroids. Okay, so one rides a carrot and the other has weird feet blade-wings, but there’s still an unusually high number of airborne figures this time around. Of course we’ve got some earthbound ladies as well (and one small guy). Ladies with guns, small ladies with guns, flying ladies with guns… really, it’s a week of flying ladies with guns all around (and some with swords and laces!), many of whom popped up in magazine scans. So hit the jump and check them out!
