Seemingly every booth in the Cultyard had several exclusives up for offer, and while we went in planning to only nab a few we ended up with more than we bargained for! So hit the jump to check out our tasty loot haul for NYCC.

The duo, who have been working together for about a year now, and both of whom are from the New York area, decided to bring it big and have lots of tie ins with comics and New York in general. From the amazing skulls in the header of Batman, the Joker, Spider-Man, and others, to more traditional pieces like a Munny with an apple for its head (which sadly sold as I was taking these shots and didn’t get to take a picture of it), there was something for everyone on hand.

The gorgeous skulls in the header also came in large size pieces (about 5″ or so), and smaller charm sized pieces and I really can’t wait to see more in that line. NYCC also saw the release of their hand sculpted and resin cast pieces called the Dust Mitez, which are, admittedly, quite adorable. Definitely give the gallery below a look through and be sure to keep an eye on these guys over the months and years to come as they produce some amazing stuff!

In fact, they had one of the largest booths in the Cultyard (or the Block, as it’s now called) jam-packed with both regular releases and awesome customs. Some of the highlights were the totally awesome Gundam-themed custom 3″ Dunnys, a sly-looking Count, and the creepy yet still cute Fat Tony. We knew all that frosty cereal would catch up with him sooner or later! My personal favorite was the rainbow jelly and icy-cool Greads: they looked deliciously edible in those colors! Check them all out and more after the jump.

These members of the Jelly Empire were out in force for NYCC with goodies like stickers, shirts, posters, pins, and of course actual Jellybots on display. The superhero Jellybots are so damn adorable, just look at little Supes! He’s even got the goofy hairstyle down. There were also some custom mini Tuttz sneakily on display, featuring a vivid day-glow color palette.

In fact, we got a whole display case full of amazing customs at Tenacious Toys’ booth, including a very large Dunny & Munny duo. There were also some more unusual platforms on display, like a custom furry Bellicose Bunny, an elegant Ghost Girl, and some creepy/cute Madls. My favorite, though, was the coral Cthulhu custom (which sadly sold out by the time I got there). I mean, who doesn’t want a little eldritch abomination hanging around in their display cases? Check them out and more after the jump!

To no one’s surprise, the minis flew off the table every day, though thankfully some of the gorgeous larger customs stuck around long enough to photograph. The excavated Tuttz custom by Adam Pratt definitely stole the show–just look at all the detail on the mini workers! There was also the lovely 8″ Cleopatra custom by Clinton Yaws and the matching blue & pink customs by Rich Page. There were some Kings of Atlantis skulls out as well, and a few of the Red Lantern mini Tuttz. Stephen and I were lucky enough to snag 3 minis at this convention, bringing our total up to 37!

Last, but certainly not least, is the relatively recent announcement of the hero from Starship Troopers: Invasion who looks pretty interesting and unique and even has a bit of a ThreeA feel to him. Plushes and other fare were also par for the course at their booth and were yet again a fan favorite, so head on over to the gallery and check out everything they had on hand!

Master Chief looks pretty much the same as he did when we saw him previously, but Sara here has quite a detailed sculpt that feels surprisingly feminine considering it’s pretty much a suit of robotic-looking armor. Also on hand were some of the previously released figures available for purchase, which seemed to move quite quickly, but of course, we have pictures of it all in the gallery below.
