  • Few things go together as well (and often) as Good Smile Company and the Fate/Stay Night franchise. And of course they had a massive amount at this Wonder Festival, so let’s just dive right in! We’re getting Nendoroids of Merlin, Miyamoto Musashi, Ishtar, and Elizabeth Bathory, along with figmas of Rider of Black, Jeanne d’Arc Alter, and Saber of Red. Onto my favorite, the scales! Good Smile will be giving us Altria Pendragon (who looks stunning), Mash Kyrielight: Heroic Spirit Formal Dress Ver (what a short and concise name!), Mash Kyrielight ~Dangerous Beast~, and Altria Pendragon on a motorcycle. From Max Factory we will get Jeanne d’Arc Alter Dress Version and a soft vinyl Paul Bunyan (who is a Berserker–were they inspired by IT?). Last but not least, Orange Rouge is giving us two boys: Gilgamesh and the original Lancer! A little something for everyone, no? [via whl4u]

  • Santa Alter, just put Excalibur under the tree, for me…. I’ve been an awful good girl~ So, Volks really loves Saber from Fate/Stay Night. We’ve gotten a ton of versions of her, including regular, Lily, Alter, and Extra. Now it’s time for one more! In a very strange choice (no Mordred?) they’ve gone with Santa Saber aka Rider. A real character from Fate/Grand Order. What is this franchise turning into?! In any case, this doll is basically Saber Alter (who, remember, was a pre-order doll so there are lots of her on the market!) in Christmas-themed clothing. Not their most exciting release, no? To be honest this seems like a shameless money grab: why not just release the outfit? Why not give us OG Rider, a Dollfie fans have been clamoring for? Or Caster/Caster Extra? The answer is money. • Rider is absolutely my favorite Fate/Stay Night girl, but she’s gotten very little in the way of merchandise. I mean, I know she’s only in a few episodes but come on guys! Thankfully with Unlimited Blade Works we’re getting more figures of the original cast, including this adorable Nendoroid of Rider which was announced at Summer Wonder Festival. As you’d probably guess, she does not come with a whole lot. There’s her weapons (of course), the removable eye mask, two faces (stoic and yelling), and an effect part for her Noble Phantasm. Oh, and of course there’s a GSC shop bonus: her summoning circle. Man, am I freaking tired of these bonuses. Stop trying to make them happen! Rider is going up for order tonight. [via Kahotan]

  • We’ve seen some Fate/Stay Night goodies already, like Sakura Saber, Koto’s Swimsuit Saber, and Good Smile’s brand new Saber Bride. But there’s more! Always more. We have for you two Nendoroid announcements: Archer and Rider! Along with lots of other stuff from GSC & co. GSC is doing BB from Fate/Extra (the girl to the far left who looks just like Sakura) and behind her is a fully armored Mordred. Fancy! Then there’s Phat! Company’s Jack the Ripper, who is finally painted, along with their second Illya. There’s also a lovely Saber in a dress by Wing. And we do have one non-GSC figure… an Archer from Alter! [UPDATE] Added Aquamarine’s Saber of the Red! [via whl4u & Figure/gk]

  • AmiAmi has this nasty habit of combining our orders into big glumps that overlap between months. So, for example, we might not get some of our January stuff until the beginning of March (yet mysteriously it will be with not just February but March items as well). You may have noticed that we skipped a January loot post: well, that’s because we didn’t even get all our figures from it until a few days ago! But thankfully January and February seemed to be smaller months than most, so we’re just going to combine them into a mega loot post! Check it all out after the jump.

  • More boys! I’ll be honest, I was never that excited at the announcement of a Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero in Alter’s Altair line. The show bored me to tears and I just couldn’t get on board with his character. Plus his design falls a bit flat for me, so even with Alter’ usual attention to detail he’s just… not doing it for me. That is, until I saw the extras. He comes with a MINI RIDER and a blushing face! Ahh, so cute. Like, to die for cuteness levels over here. Damn you Alter, getting me to hop on board with figures I didn’t even wants! [via runrun_run]

  • Welcome to another month of wacky magazine scans. This time we’ve got some very bad cellphone pics, but mixed in with higher quality scans that went up at the same time! Oh Japan, you’re so silly. This month we’ve got quite a few things, which is surprising given that WonFest was only a short while ago. You’d think companies would have nothing new left! Well we do have a lot of Nendoroids we already knew about along with recolors and re-releases, but there are some new goodies as well. Hit the jump to check them all out! [UPDATE] Updated with the rest of the scans! [UPDATE #2] Updated with a few stray scans, including MegaHouse’s Rider!

  • At this past MegaHobby Expo, MegaHouse showed off the art for their Petit Chara Land Fate/Zero set. It’s finished now, and like all of the sets based on Nitro+’s art they are super adorable! We’ve got lots of boys: Rider, Waver Velvet, Emiya Kiritsugu, Lancer, and Gilgamesh. And then… there’s Saber. Not one, but 3 different versions of her. I’m using “different versions” pretty loosely here, since they all have the same outfit and pose, just slightly different weapons. I’m a bit disappointed that they didn’t do Irisviel and Caster, but oh well. Each box contains 10 figures, which means you should get some dupes. Individual boxes are only ¥660 but a case will run you a steep ¥6,600 (no discounts?!). They will be released in November, a pretty packed month already. Pre-order At: AmiAmi | Hobby Search

  • There are a lot of rare, limited lottery-based figures out there, but the convenience store Lawson seems to be the king of ridiculously hard to get figures. Now they’re upping their game with a line of Fate/Zero merchandise, the crowning jewels of which are two figures: one of Saber Zero in her suit and one of Rider Zero in some casual clothing. And when I say two figures I mean two. As in they are most likely only making one of each. There is either going to be one very happy otaku or one very rich flipper when those lottery results come in! The chances of actually owning either of these are pretty astronomical, but for those of us who can only dream they will also have a lot of lottery-based merchandise and a smaller Saber (not in suit) to pine over. [via Lawson]

  • When MegaHouse gets their claws into a license they milk it for all it’s worth. For Fate/Zero fans this is great news, as they announced not just scaled figures at MegaHobby but also a set of chibis! This is part of their ‘Petit Chara Land’ and it features Saber (of course), Gilgamesh, Rider, Waver Velvet, Emiya Kiritsugu, and Lancer. I love the designs here, and it will be fun to have more stylized versions of the characters. Currently, Lancer is the only one that doesn’t have a scaled figure or action figure… but considering the success of Fate/Zero I doubt that will continue for long! [via Weibo]
