    FREEing’s adorable Fate/Stay Night Yukata line, which has previously included Saber and Illya, is adding a new girl to the lineup–Saber Alter! I really love Alter, and this figure fits her personality to a tee. I wonder how they’re going to do the sparkler effect?

    Oh, that’s not all of course! This is really a preview of Yukata Rin, who looks gorgeous and really true to character. She went up this week, so look for her in our weekly PVC roundup!

    Good Smile Unveils The Goodies They Will Have At NYCC

    So we’ve known for a while now that Good Smile Company would be attending New York Comic Con for the first time ever this year, but the question on everyone’s lips is–what will they have?! FREEing is doing a summer festival set of Saber, Rin, Sakura and Illya in gorgeous yukatas. Saber and Illya are already painted, while Rin is sculpted and Sakura still in art-form. This looks to be a lovely set, and I hope FREEing goes through and completes it unlike some other things… *cough*1/4 Freezing*cough*

    Ichiban Kuji Brings The Derp With Their Type-Moon Prizes

    Back in March, Banpresto announced that they would be doing some Type-Moon Ichiban Kuji figures and the main prizes would be Saber Lily in her short dress and Aoko Aozaki from Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. The base sculpts looked great, and it was nice to see a different take on Lily. However, the final products are… not as expected. The dresses look fantastic, especially if you like clear PVC, but the faces… dear god the faces. They are so bad! And Ichiban Kuji figures usually have really nice faces too.

The posts aren’t done on a day-to-day basis as we’re lead to believe, but stockpiled and put up every night. So sometimes, things go wrong, and we get to see figures like… 12 hours early! It’s thrilling!</p> <p>That’s exactly what happened with the new Cheerful Japan figures. They are, surprisingly, brand-new! It’s Saber and Rin from <em>Fate/Stay Night</em> in cute cheer outfits. Unlike the <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/the-new-cheerful-japan-steinsgate-nendoroids-are-omghnnnnng" target="_blank"><em>Steins;Gate</em> set</a>, these are entirely new head-sculpts. Saber now has a long, elegant braid and Rin… well, this is the first time we’ve seen a real Rin Nendoroid!
