    Cry Over This Gallery Of Bandai’s Crystal Sailor Mars

    Bandai Shows Off Their New Sailor Moon Goodies

    Bandai is riding the Sailor Moon hype train right into the ground, and they’re gonna milk this one for all it’s got. Usually I complain endlessly about this sort of thing but come on, it’s Sailor Moon.     Winter Wonder Festival 2015: MegaHouse x Sailor Moon

    While MegaHouse’s school uniform figure of Usagi certainly wasn’t the best, I’m such a fangirl that I ordered her anyway. I know, the shame! But honestly I’m still excited for the rest of the line: Mercury & Mars were announced in November, and now we have painted shots of all three of them together! And they look, well… okay. Not great but not terrible, and as the world’s biggest Rei Hino fan that’s good enough for me!

I mean, it is their event. We’ve seen <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/megahobby-expo-autumn-2014-megahouse-x-digimon" target="_blank">the Digimon lineup</a>, but there’s more! So much more. Like their <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/megahouse-announces-figures-of-sailor-moons-rei-ami" target="_blank">Sailor Moon Rei & Ami</a>, who are as you’d expect: mediocre, but not so abjectly terrible that hardcore fans will pass up an order. They also announced that Naru (!!) will be joining the line.Their Gundam & Yamato girls lines are on a roll as we saw in scans, and they had tons on hand including the gorgeous Akira Yamamoto and Fumino Hoshino’s fabulous spandex shorts. And the next Gundam girl? Aida Surgan! The small 1/10 girls line was on display as well, with Hiyori Iki from Noragami, Hisa Takegi and Misaka Mikoto.</p> <p>What about their usual lineup of boys boys boys? We’ve got them in droves! Naruto, Itachi & Kakashi (in Hokage mode!) from <em>The Last</em> Naruto movie. Like One Piece? There’s Killer, Zoro, Koala, Eustass Kid, Sabo, and Mr.2 Bon Kure. Plus those basketball boys everyone loves!     MegaHouse has really been playing with my  heart recently. I mean, they announced a figure of Usagi… and then it was just really bad. And now they’re doing it again! They’ve just added Ami Mizuno and Rei Hino to the Sekai Seifuku Sakusen line (aka tiny 1/10 scale figures). And judging by the silhouettes they used, both will be in school uniforms–no shrine maiden Rei, sigh.

    And you know what the worst part is? I’m going to buy every damn one. DAMN YOU NOSTALGIA.

We have had one set of petit-style trading figures, but fans are pretty desperate for some non-jointed, properly proportioned sailor scouts. And finally, our wish is being granted!

    And, no surprise, they’re coming from Bandai. But they look freaking awesome, so I’m not going to complain. We get all the scouts and Luna & Artemis! And at ¥4,980 a box–which, yes, is expensive for trading figures. But come on, it’s Sailor Moon. They know we’re gonna pay up no matter what.

And they even let us get a peek at some of the more important prototypes–and these days, what’s more important than their Sailor Moon line?
