@GeekeryDo: @mikeyturvey I agree with you. I stopped reading them because I got tired of it, though @Sir_Narwhal is correct that it's normal for comics.

@GeekeryDo: @Sir_Narwhal @mikeyturvey yeh but that's just one arc and it's easy to read it all since, as you said, it's been put together like that.

@NFern0: @Sir_Narwhal Sounds like (ohoho) specialist equipment. Black Friday is more mass consumer oriented isn't it?

We’ve already seen some of the goodies Max Factory had on display like their Cardcaptor Sakura, 7th Dragon Miku and Sheryl Nome. But there was more! A lot more, in fact. Their gorgeous Dark Elf from Lineage is painted… in 2 colorways, for some reason. Blue skin and brown! I prefer the blue, but both are nice.
Then we have a new addition to the Lineage line, Kamael. Ugh, love the wings! There’s also the last se.kirara girl, Mana Miyuki. So glad they are finally wrapping up the line! Nyaruko will be getting a risque apron version, and Momo will be decked out in (almost) wedding gear. The crazy Kuroyukihime is painted (and stunning) and last but not least we’ve got a Fire Emblem figure of Sallya!

Max Factory’s se.kirara line has to be one of the slowest-moving things in the PVC world. They were announced years ago, and were all sculpted about a year ago, yet we’re only now on the third of the five girls. First was Aya Kagura, then Izumi Shizuno, and now it’s the shy, adorable Nozomi Akiyama! She was one of my favorites in the figma line because of her shy presence and awesome green hair, and they’ve done a good job transitioning her to 3D.
This whole line is being worked on by Chieri and Nanako, the same duo responsible for their Shining Wind swimsuit line, so of course the sculpt is super adorable. She’s priced quite reasonably at ¥7,800, especially considering that the other 1/7 scale girls in it were closer to 1/6. Nozomi will go up for order this week and is set for an April release. I wonder when we’ll see Mana and Yuu?

Welcome to another month of scans! We’ve got tons of awesome this time, including FIVE boys! No joke, five of ‘em. Oh, and some ladies as well of course. Lolis, busty demons, kick-ass steak eaters, and graceful penguin commanders. And, of course, the necessary NSFW girls and bikini babes. Check them all out after the jump!

Welcome to two months of loot in one! Actually it’s kind of three: as you may or may not have noticed, we didn’t have a August loot post either. It’s a long story, but basically AmiAmi has been smushing our orders together oddly so we get things late (but some early–most of our October was here before the September items). So some August items squeaked their way in! Hit the jump to get started on our most action-packed loot post yet.

Max Factory always has a lot on display, and while we’ve already taken a look at some of their bigger figures like the Elf girls, Hacker, Belldandy, and Nyarlathotep. But there were a few lower-key figures on display, so let’s take a look at them! First is the new sculpt for Himeko Inaba from Kokoro Connect. I think she’s quite lovely! Second is Nozomi Akiyama, following up Aya and Izumi after a year’s wait!

You might have noticed the absence of a Pre-Order Roundup last week, which was due to an unfortunately timed case of food poisoning. And we’re a bit late this week as well, but we pushed through the sickness just to give you a hit of PVC ordering goodness. Just kidding, we’re actually doing much better!
This week we’ve got one figure that will probably overwhelm all the others (you all know who I am talking about) but there were some other gems. Everyone’s favorite priestess is now a Beach Queen, Max Factory revived a figure from the grave, we got a spectacular version of Mari from Evangelion, and as always, lots more!

Usually Mikatan’s previews are quite timely, showing up right before a figure goes up for order. However, tonight we’re getting a bit of a throwback: Max Factory’s 1/7 scale Aya Kagura went up for order two weeks ago, but she is only now popping up on the blog. Aya actually went missing for about a year, so I suppose the lateness is right on track with this figure!
She’s as beautiful as ever, and while I didn’t really need to be sold on this figure it’s nice to see some detail shots of her. Mikatan has also informed us that Aya will have patterned panties and not plain white ones: this might seem silly, but it’s nice to see companies putting in that bit of extra effort. I’m really hoping that all the promotion Aya is getting means that we’ll see the other 4 girls from se.kirara soon! And maybe those Native versions will show up…

Welcome to this week’s pre-order roundup! Last week was Golden Week, and it was so barren that there weren’t enough figures to scrape together for a roundup. To make up for it this week is a doozy, packed to the brim with pretty ladies. There’s some game-related beauties, a few long-awaited releases, several (themed!) re-releases, our usual dose of Nendoroids and figmas, and a figure so bad it looks like it time-traveled from 2004. So hit the jump to check them out!

Well over a year ago, Max Factory unveiled a finished prototype of a 1/7 scale Aya Kagura from the eroge se.kirara. Now we were all thinking,”A painted and sculpted prototype! She must be going up for order soon!” NOPE. Max Factory pretty much said nothing about her release until she popped up in magazine scans a month ago.
It seems like nothing’s changed so I have no idea why it took so long, but she still looks gorgeous! She’ll retail for ¥7,800 with a September release, and will go up for order tomorrow night.
