Six more, five of which are brand new. I know I sound like a broken record, but stop with all the teasers! Leave some mystery for the event! The old figure is no surprise, their Mistral who was sculpted in scans will be painted. As for new, we’ve got another Shining girl-Panis from Shining Ark. We also have more Muv-Luv, but old Muv-Luv: Meiya Mitsurugi! The apple-on-her-head kitty Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi will be there as well, she sure does seem to be popular! I can’t think of another franchise that has as much merchandise–Fate/Stay Night is the only one that comes close! Though Shining World wins hands-down in terms of variety. Well, maybe the Touhou girls too, but they are definitely newer. We’ve been getting figures of the Shining girls for 7 years now with no end in sight (thankfully). If anything they’ve picked up speed with the Dollfie Dreams and Alter line!

However, Kotobukiya was first on the scene and continues to be the most prolific Shining World manufacturer. This is a lighter, more cheerful take on her based on her appearance in Shining Blade, and thankfully her pricetag is only ¥600 higher than the original release at ¥6,800. She’ll come out in May, and I am definitely considering picking her up since I don’t have any Elminas in my collection!

[via Kotobukiya's Store]
