The dynamic pose and flowing cape fit the character perfectly and I really love that the mohawk second head is included as an option, despite not being really comic accurate (but who cares when it looks good?). Also of note, both earrings will be there in the final figure on the mohawk head, one was broken in transit. That said, all around, this is one big, bold, and awesome statue and honestly, one of my favorites of Storm. Now to hope for more mutants to come after!

Rumor had it she would be an NYCC release but it seems like she’s been bumped up a bit and will appear at SDCC! However she’s not just exclusive to the event, as there will be an online release as well in KotoUS’ store. There are only 2000 of her, so like most of their Bishoujo exclusives she will be pretty limited. I actually like this look more than the regular version, as the white really makes her mocha skin pop. First off (and my favorite of the bunch) are two plates! One feature the MC (also known as Shujinkou, Yu, and Souji). There’s also one with Teddie/Kuma on the Junes logo! Each costs ¥1,050 with a release date of May, and they have a diameter of about 6.4 inches so they’re decently sized. Grab the MC one here and Teddie here.

Then we have some drinking accoutrements: there are two mugs which, like the last sets feature the girls on one and the boys on the other. Oh and some girl in a funny hat who works at a restaurant… you know, cause she has so many fans. It’s a tad more expensive than the other items at ¥1,680 but that’s not exactly a crazy price! People have been clamoring for a Storm Bishoujo for ages, and here she is! Well, here the illustration is, in any case. She looks amazing, with a very dynamic pose and it looks like we’re going to get some nifty clear effect parts. She’ll probably get an awesome cloud-themed base too, especially considering her pose! This is probably the announcement today that I am looking forward to the most, as I think a black superheroine Bishoujo was a long time coming.
