There is a lot of new PVC at Wonder Festival, but over half the event is dedicated to garage kits. Lots of garage kits. Rows and rows of endless beautiful resin. We’ve already seen some of the individual kits like Yagyuu Toshiyuki’s Miku, the Pajama Saber, Nyanko Miku, Ultimate Homura, Orbit Miku, Tora Zettai, Elizabeth & Thanatos, Orbit Miku, Labrys and Nanako (phew!) along with the offerings of companies like T’s System and Cerberus Project.
But of course there are more kits at the event–a lot more, so many that we could post one every half hour for the week leading up to Wonder Festival and not even be halfway through all the goodies at the event! Like last year, we’ve picked out some of our favorites for you (and by “some” I mean over 60) and compiled a gallery of these beauties. Each image has the name of the circle along with the character, in case you were looking to purchase them! We’ve got some real stunners this time around, and while trends clearly favor Miku like usual we have a lot of Sword Art Online and quite a few Persona figures–including Persona 3‘s Chidori! Check them all out and more in the gallery below.

We have a pretty action-packed lineup for you this time around, with almost twice as many figures as we’ve been seeing the past few months. Though let’s start up with a bit of bad news: there’s rumors from these scans that figma Strength has been cancelled! Only rumors, but anyway, let’s get onto the good.</p> <p>We’ve got lots of ladies for you, and finally the return of Good Smile Company & co in the scaled figure section. I don’t know why they went missing for so long but oh well, they’re back now with some shiny goodies. We’ve also got not one but TWO devils from the Seven Sins lineup, which is awesome because for the past few months it’s been nothing but art. ![<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-42436 slb_group[42435] slb slb_internal" href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/take-off-with-alters-sanya-from-strike-witches/attachment/altersanyaheader"></a></p> <p>I started collecting Alter’s Strike Witches line with the third release, Charlotte, and sadly I’ve been unable to complete the set since the first two (Yoshika and Sanya) are both outrageously expensive on the after-market. So I was thrilled when <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-july-2012" target="_blank">back in July</a> Alter unveiled a second version of Sanya: the Rocket Booster edition! But <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/alter-unveils-two-new-strike-witches" target="_blank">the paint job</a> left me wanting.</p> <p>We’re getting a second preview now, and I am much happier! I still don’t love the coat but she comes with an alternate torso featuring her normal outfit along with a calmer face. Plus the antenna the first preview was missing! And the image of her with Eila, my favorite witch, looks just lovely! So, for example, we might not get some of our January stuff until the beginning of March (yet mysteriously it will be with not just February but March items as well). You may have noticed that we skipped a January loot post: well, that’s because we didn’t even get all our figures from it until a few days ago!</p> <p>But thankfully January and February seemed to be smaller months than most, so we’re just going to combine them into a mega loot post! ![<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-38567 slb_group[38566] slb slb_internal" href="http://www.plastikitty.com/?attachment_id=38567"></a></p> <p>Apparently Alter is so excited about these figures that they couldn’t wait two days until Wonder Festival to show us: no, we have to see them right now! Calm down their Alter, I know you like your Strike Witches but considering the snail’s pace that this line has moved it’s kind of shocking to get two at once. The first is the colored version of <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/magazine-scans-july-2012" target="_blank">their Sanya version 2</a>, complete with rocket booster! Personally I still prefer the version 1: I’m just not loving all the red in this one. However, she will come with an alternate body featuring her regular uniform which in my eyes should be much better!</p> <p>Then we have a brand new sculpt: Perrine! Alter announced all of the Strike Witches girls from the first season something like 2 years ago, and we’re still missing 2 (Francesca and Lynette), and honestly I’m surprised Perrine got done before them–she’s certainly not the most popular girl, especially compared to Lynette, but I love her! Her sculpt looks adorable. Hey Alter… how about you also re-release Yoshika so I can have a full set?
