  • <p><a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/?attachment_id=83601" rel="attachment wp-att-83601"></a></p> <p>Max Factory has always been about quality over quantity, and that’s certainly clear from their scaled figure Wonder Festival lineup. It’s very small! We have seen the <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/winter-wonfest-2018-gsc-co-x-fatestay-night" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Fate/Stay Night</a> and <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/winter-wonfest-2018-gsc-co-x-vocaloid" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Vocaloid</a> figures, but of course there’s a handful more.</p> <p>We have two <em>KanColle</em> girls: Suzuya Kai-II and a damage mode Saratoga. Their Racing Sonico is finally painted, as is the gorgeous Mage from 7th Dragon. Ai-chan from <em>Tawawa on Monday</em> is also painted, if boobs that look like they are literally filled with helium are your thing.     Winter WonFest 2018: Max Factory

    Sonico Gets Her Hestia Cosplay On In Her Newest Figure

    I’m sure you all remember the Sonico x Hestia figure from a few months back because, well, it’s really weird. I mean, no weirder than any other Sonico figure, but still. On a scale of one to ten in “why is this happening,” this is a solid 7.5. I mean, I’m into it. But why is it happening?

    FuRyu’s New Sonico Is Surprisingly Pretty

    Summer WonFest 2017: (NSFW) Orchid Seed

    Does anyone else worry that Orchid Seed is kind of dying? I think about it often. They used to be one of my faves, and I will be forever thankful that they actually put out Samurai Tamaki, but it seems like every event they have less and less. Will I ever get my library girl? No. No I will not.

    This year there were only 3 real updates: swimsuit Mammon and the Dark Elf are painted, and they have the sculpt for swimsuit Tomoe was on display. That’s basically it. And they had very little art too, though the focus did seem to be on swimsuit Sonico so she’s probably next.

    Vertex used to make big, ambitious figures. They bust onto the scene with the entry plug Evangelion figures, after all! It’s a conspiracy to drive us insane, I tell you. At least this year they had some cool KanColle girls who we don’t usually see, like Northern Princess (squee!), Kashima, Ro 5oo, and Naka. And they didn’t announce any more, thank the lord.
