Taichi Yagami Archive

  • Many moons ago, Bandai announced a ton of Digimon figures. Gatomon, the one I was most excited for, and even a figure of Tai! Yeah, finally getting to the humans. But that was back when they still had D-Arts, so you know how it went. We never got them: instead, Bandai did a million variations of WarGreymon and all the other mecha-y Digimon. Basically, what no one wanted. But things are finally, finally back on track, because at Tamashii Nations they showed off Figuarts ZERO of Taichi Yagami and Yamato Ishida! All grown up, and based on Digimon Adventure tri. Of course Gabumon and Agumon will be included. I wonder if we’ll ever see the revival of that Gatomon? [via 1up]

  • Whoo, scans. Pardon my lack of enthusiasm, but the week leading up to Wonder Festival always has me dreading scans. It means extra features (garage kit roundup and wishlist) on top of, well, the event coverage and we have three reviews to work on this week! So when I remembered scans were tonight I nearly cried. For real, ask Stephen. So, let’s just dive right in. Wow, such figures! So PVC! Wowwwww! Maybe I’ll just do every post in Shibe…

  • Just when I thought the best of MegaHobby was behind us, MegaHouse whips out this surprise! Ages after Digimon reached its high point, it is finally getting the figures it deserves. I am so happy I could cry. But I won’t–maybe if it was Gatoman. Anyway, MegaHouse has started up a new line called P! G.E.M, probably a petit line since these guys look pretty small. And the first to join it will be Taichi Yagami and Agumon! How awesome is that. A lot of people just relived their childhood right now. Thanks, MegaHouse! [via 2chan]
