Remember that set of Persona 4 metal charms featuring Yu, Chie, Kanji and Naoto along with their Personas? Well there are more than 4 characters in the game so it’s no surprise that we are getting a second set! This time it features Yosuke, Yukiko, Rise and Teddie along with their first-tier Personas. Shocking, I know!
Like the first set, it’s ¥4,300 for a set of 12 on AmiAmi with a June release–which, yes, means you’ll get a few dupes. There are two secret figures but even taking them into account you’re left over with 2 extras! I still think it’s weird how they split these up–usually you get the first ‘half’ of the cas (Yu, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko) together and the second ‘half’ (Kanji, Rise, Teddie, Naoto) in a separate bundle. I tend to prefer the second bunch, so perhaps their goal is to make me spend more money….

AmiAmi has this nasty habit of combining our orders into big glumps that overlap between months. So, for example, we might not get some of our January stuff until the beginning of March (yet mysteriously it will be with not just February but March items as well). You may have noticed that we skipped a January loot post: well, that’s because we didn’t even get all our figures from it until a few days ago!
But thankfully January and February seemed to be smaller months than most, so we’re just going to combine them into a mega loot post! Check it all out after the jump.

Taito didn’t really show up to Wonder Festival, but apparently they still have a ton of new prize figures ready to be ordered! We’ve got a great batch this time around, with the biggest additions being the continuation of their Persona 4 Arena line which now includes Elizabeth (who is an individual release) and Teddie & Rise (who come together). So glad to be seeing more of Elizabeth!
Then we’ve got a swimsuit version of Soniko featuring a rather suggestive ice pop. Personally, I think there’s never enough figures of her! You can grab these all at Big In Japan, but act quick: Rise’s single-figure pre-orders have already sold out!

You know what we totally don’t have enough of? Persona 4 figures! Just kidding, we totally do have plenty, but as a huge MegaTen figure I am all up for more more more. Taito has been a pretty prolific force in the Persona world with large prize figures, plushes, and now the cutest darn minifigs ever. Seriously, these rival Kotobukiya’s set for cuteness!
Taito has made the whole main cast: Yu, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Rise, Naoto, and Teddie. Of course they’re prize figures so it won’t be so easy to get them: thankfully HLJ has most of the cast, minus Naoto. She sure is popular! The whole gang is on Toyslogic if you don’t mind the wait (along with the plushes!) And as always, you can also keep an eye on the regular after-market sites as sets are bound to pop up.

While we’ve had a ton of Persona 4 merchandise, there haven’t been a lot of plushies except for the multiple versions of Teddie in his bear form. Now we’re finally getting (almost) the whole cast in squishy form: Taito is doing prize plushes of the MC, Chie, Yosuke, Kanji, Naoto, Yukiko, Rise, human Teddie, and even Nanako. ADORABLE! Each set of 3 is ￥2,680 and while they’re not up on any US sites yet you can snag some on Rakuten. Man, I need that Nanako in my life…

You know what your cellphone needs? A little bearsonality! Now you can spruce it up with everyone’s favorite mascot, Teddie (or Kuma, if you played the JP version) from Persona 4! These are heaphone jacks but they are also stand-alone figures: his head pops off to go on your phone, but whole he’ll look perfectly fine on a shelf.
There are four versions: regular, blushing, masked, and best of all pirate. They’re only ¥675 a pop at AmiAmi, pretty damn reasonable considering how versatile they are. They come out in February and of course I’ll be getting all of them. I would have to be bearzerk to resist!

One of my most highly anticipated figures this year was Nendoroid Teddie, aka the greatest Nendo ever (if you love Persona 4 and Teddie, that is). He came with so much stuff that you just knew photographers would go crazy on his release, and while he only came out yesterday Hobby Search has already come out with a ridiculous, over the top photoshoot!
This is actually a funny coincidence, because I just started Golden today and my love for Teddie has only strengthened. He sure gets up to some shenanigans here: he tries his paw at cooking, makes some new friends, finds an un-bear-able foe, and much more. And wait till you see who comes out of the mascot suit! Check ‘em all out in the gallery.

Welcome to two months of loot in one! Actually it’s kind of three: as you may or may not have noticed, we didn’t have a August loot post either. It’s a long story, but basically AmiAmi has been smushing our orders together oddly so we get things late (but some early–most of our October was here before the September items). So some August items squeaked their way in! Hit the jump to get started on our most action-packed loot post yet.

The Happy Kuji line so far has contained scaled prize figures of Yu, Yosuke, and Naoto. Most prize figure lines have smaller additions too, and the Persona 4 one definitely isn’t an exception! There’s an inflatable Teddie/Kuma along with eye covers so you can fight for justice while you sleep, along with some super cute chibi figures of Yu, Yosuke, Yukiko, Kanji, and Human Teddie. There’s also a secret one–guessing from the scaled figures, I think it’ll be Naoto! The very last prize is a chibi Nanako, called the “Majo Tantei Raburin” version. She’s in detective gear! Ahh so cute! This line is set for a November release, and should be hitting the after-market soon after that. Let’s hope they aren’t too expensive, because I need that Nanako.
