  • We have seen a lot from Kotobukiya this year at NYCC. Everything from their panel announcements, Squirrel Girl, Harley Quinn ArtFX+, and the Chucky Bishoujo to their DC, Marvel, Star Wars, and anime figures. And we still have a few behind the glass galleries to come! But for now, we’ve got an overview of everything else they had out on display. Like their Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo (one of my all-time faves from the line), their Clash of Clans figures, Sniper Wold and Lucky Chloe, and the painted Rainbow Mika picture.

  • We already saw Kotobukiya’s two pieces of Bishoujo news at Toy Fair (the art for Wonder Girl and Thor & Loki), but of course there was lots more–including the newly painted Harley Quinn v2 and Spider Gwen. And my waifu Lucky Chloe. Perhaps most importantly, we got some interesting info about Bishoujo Chucky. A few people thought she was a bit too cutesy for a horror Bish, but never fear! She will come with a second face that’s all scarred/messed up like the real Chucky.

  • It’s no secret that I have a passionate love for catgirls, twintails, pink clothing, and frills. Put them all together and I have a happy heart attack, which was basically my reaction to the announcement for the Tekken Bishoujo Lucky Chloe. And after seeing the sculpt in person? Yeah, I am so on board. She’s definitely my favorite game Bishoujo to date! And now she’s finally painted. Well okay, finally is an exaggeration, since we only saw her sculpt two months ago. But I want her right this very minute! I mean, it’s so pink. So cute. Chloe, you are a perfect cinnamon roll. [via Kotobukiya’s Facebook]

  • Kotobukiya’s newest Tekken Bishoujo, Lucky Chloe, notably wasn’t from Shunya Yamashita’s past batches of Tekken girls. Which means… new characters, new art! And usually some of the art gets made into Bishoujo form, so we will probably see some of these as figures. Which is always exciting, because the Tekken Bishoujo line is one of my favorites, second only to DC. This time around we’ve got 4 new girls: one of them is Lucky Chloe, who we’ve already seen in Bishoujo form. Then we have Katarina, Josie Rizal, and Kazumi Mishima. Honestly, I’d be excited to see any of these in Bishoujo form, especially Katarina: her pose is so dynamic! What do you think, Plastikitties? [Thanks so much to Stuart Cambell for the photos & info!<3]

  • We have already shown you a lot of the important announcements from Kotobukiya’s panel: Marvel and DC, the Thanos sculpt, and lots of Bishoujo news. But of course, there was lots more! And I do mean lots. Let’s start with PVC: they had info on the new Rage of Bahamut figures but, more excitingly, assurance that Vania will definitely not be the last one we’ll see from them. We had lots of Star Wars, of course, and Halo as well (along with an announcement for a new Halo series). There was also a whole lot of Bishoujos, comic statues, Alien figures, and everything in between. And last but not least, they said that they want to hear from fans about future merchandise! So you can head on over to a survey and let them know what you’d like to see down the pipeline.

  • I can’t even remember the last time I was this hype about a figure. I already kind of flipped out about Chloe at NYCC, but now we have a super extra detailed gallery of her. And how amazing is she? The most amazing. She is a perfect cinnamon roll. Too good for this world. And also hella detailed! See the back of her jacket? It has her name on it, awww. And the fur sculpt, super realistic. Plus a cute butt. It’s everything I want in life… and more. Okay actually what I want in life is to literally be Chloe. And to have little cat assistants. Livin’ the dream.

  • If you asked me what new Bishoujo I was looking forward to the most, the answer would definitely be Tekken’s Lucky Chloe. Do you even have to ask why? Pink outfit, frills, cat ears (and paws!!), twintails, headphones, reasonable footwear. It’s like everything I love in one hyperactively adorable package. Was it kind of a weird character choice for a Bishoujo? Yes. BUT SHE IS SO PERFECT. The sculpt (obviously) showed up at NYCC, and she is everything I dreamed she would be and more. Such detailed fur gloves! The pose! The frills. Guys, I’m dying. And I absolutely cannot wait to see her with paint.

  • Well, this is certainly a surprise! We all expected a new Tekken announcement at SDCC, but did any of us think it would be… Lucky Chloe? I mean, she’s not one of the hyper-popular girls. But she’s a pink mecha catgirl with twintails. SHE’S FRIGGIN ADORABLE. I want her so bad and I don’t even know anything about her. [via Koto’s Facebook]

  • Well, this was a fast turnaround! We were only just viewing the brand-new sculpt for Anna Williams at New York Comic Con, and she’s already painted. Then again, the Tekken line is the fastest moving of all the Bishoujo franchises so maybe it’s not *that* surprising. While I still really am sad about the lack of a pattern on her dress, the finish between glossy/glitter and the matte of her sleeves makes me a little happier. And real fishnets! Honestly, Anna isn’t my favorite Tekken girl and while her overall color scheme is kind of dull I’m still swayed by the booty. [via Koto’s Facebook]

  • We’ve taken a look at Anna Williams’ Bishoujo already today, so of course we can’t leave her sister out of the mix! This is another Bishoujo I’ve been on the fence about for a while now. On one hand we’ve got an awesome blurple camouflage print, a beautiful ponytail and a butt & thighs that could kill a (wo)man. On the other hand, we’re back to Shunya’s boob & butts pose, and her spine makes my head hurt. Will the majesty of the booty beat out another turret spine? Will shiny latex override the logical portion of my brain? Who knows, only time will tell! For now, check her out in the gallery below.
