…get it? Because they are literally seals? I hope you weren’t expecting anything dirty.
I’m not really sure why someone decided to make Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica into, well, seals, but I sure am glad they did. I mean, they just reek of cuteness overload. The little chubby cheeks, the squishy seal bodies, the FACES. Dear lord, just looking at them for too long will make your teeth rot. So if someone could jut, um, get me a few of these that would be great.

Given the popularity of Sword Art Online, we really haven’t seen a ton of figures of the heroine Asuna. Sure, there’s the gorgeous one from Kotobukiya, the exclusive from Volks, the Dollfie Dream, and the more recent sculpt from Chara-Ani, but we’ve heard nothing from the more higher-end companies like Alter, Max Factory or Good Smile Company. What gives!
Of course fans have taken the situation into their own hands and put together some customs. Today it’s a wedding version of Asuna! Or rather, a wedding night version of the lovely lady, featuring some beautiful but skimpy lingerie. While the face isn’t exactly accurate, you have to give them props for trying! I’d like to see Max Factory do a version similar to this, since they seem to be going this way with the ToLove Ru girls…

When they announced a Nendoroid Iron Man, I think we were all too tickled by how silly his face looked to realize the amazing potential of this figure. Because, like every Nendoroid, his faceplates are fully swappable with any other recent Nendo. Which means, yes, you can put all kinds of wacky stuff inside his helmet… but you can also put his manly face on other Nendos.
Now that he’s been released his full abilities have been unlocked! Watch the Strike Witches get a body upgrade, see Tony Stark attempt a regular life in Japanese high school, marvel at the goofy faces he gets. It’s all under the jump!

I have always wondered why there aren’t Evangelion Nendoroids. In terms of merchandise & figures Eva is arguably the most all-time popular anime–we have tons of scaled figures, figmas, bigger action figures, trading figures, even Dollfie Dreams, but no damn Nendoroids! Why Good Smile, whyyy. Just give us mini Asuka and Mari. Or in the case of these two amazing customs, Shinji and Kaworu!
That’s right, the amazing duo has been made into Nendoroid form. These are absolutely spot on, and you can tell that the customizer is a huge Evangelion fan! The gallery we have for you today is only a small peek into what they have done with these two, but it’s utterly amazing. There’s a lot of cosplay (and, of course, crossplay). Have you always wanted to see Shinji & Kaworu in Madoka Magica gear? Dressed as Soniko? Popping out of Teddie’s body? Well we’ve got all that and a whole lot more–check them out after the jump!

Nendoroid Sakura Miku Hatsune has just come out in Japan, and right on time too since as we know it’s already cherry blossom season there. Surprisingly, the first batch of photos we are getting don’t really feature her outside at all: instead we have body swaps. Lots and lots of body swaps. Along with face swaps and, yes, even hair swaps!
Of course Sakura Miku is also featured alongside her other Miku sisters, along with any Nendoroid even resembling spring themes: Haru, Sakura Shinjugi, and Yuno to name a few. There’s also some palette swapping to see what she would look like as an autumnal version. She even is summoned as a Persona! Check them all out in the gallery.

When it was announced that Max Factory would be giving us yet another figma of Aegis from Persona 3, people seemed… less than thrilled. We have a ton of Aegis already, and there have been two figma versions of her in the past! This one, however, was based on her Persona 4 Arena getup and the overall sculpt looked greatly improved.
Now that she’s out the figure collectors of Japan are hard at work bringing us lovely photos of this cutie. As you can see from the comparisons here she is a lot better looking than the past two! We’ve got fabulous action shots, a whole lot of figma cosplay and a whole lot more–check them all out in the gallery! Now we just have to wait patiently for figma Labrys… I wonder if there will be any more Persona figmas down the line?

Japan seems to be infatuated with miniatures: they make small version of everything from swings to toilets (no joke). One of the odder recent offerings has been a 1/12 scale capsule machine, which seems pretty obscure but awesome for photoshoots. Hobby Search is up to their shenanigans once again with this piece: they’ve produced some amazing shoots in the past, and this one is no exception!
Marvel at the creepiness that is the Michael Jackson figma, see whether or not Link gets what he is looking for, and what happens when you put more than one Professor Layton in the same room. Check it all out after the jump!

This may make some of us in the frigid areas of the world cry, but apparently in some parts of Japan it’s totally already cherry blossom season. Do you know how cold it is in NYC? Under 20 degrees. Yeah, we’re not getting any flowers for months over here. But in Japan, they get to take their Nendoroids out in the wild outdoors!
We’ve got, you guessed it, tons of Mikus on hand, including the newest versions like Snow Miku 2013 and Yukata Miku. It’s a shame Sakura Miku is not out yet! But we’ve also got lots of other Vocaloids like Gumi and Gakupo and Kaito, along with the amazing Nyaruko and more! Check them all out in the gallery below.

Nendoroid Gumi just came out yesterday, and already we are getting a gallery of her! From Hobby Search of course, who did a matching gallery for Gumi’s partner in crime Gakupo. Unlike some of the more boring Nendoroids Gumi has a ton of stuff to play around with, and they put it all to good use–especially her giant carrot.
Plenty of figures take this vegetable for a spin, and not just Nendoroids–Professor Layton jumps on, and even the infamous Woody shows up. Along with a bunch of Nendoroid friends, of course! Check them all out after the jump.
