Tokiya Ichinose Archive

Their duo of Otoya Ittoki and Tokiya Ichinose from Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ (aka IOLDM@STER with boys) look absolutely fabulous! The original shots we saw of their coloring seemed a bit, well, one-dimensional but they look so much better in these studio shots. I love the bold colors and use of pearlescent paints, gives a nice stage atmosphere.

Of the two I definitely prefer Tokiya, mainly because I am a sucker for purple and blue in combination. His face also looks the best of the two in my opinion. Otoya’s standard face is a little… weird-looking. Like his eyes are too big? But not really an issue because, come on, who is NOT going to use that adorable alternate winking expression? They’re set to go up for order on the 12th, and Masato and Ren are next in line.

[via Altair's Blog]

    Altair’s Delicious Uta☆pri Duo

More male figures is always good news, and I had high hopes that we’d be getting some dynamic figures from Altair for once. They’re now painted and wow do they look good! Not exactly stunningly dynamic or inventive like Aoba, but they’ve got a ton going on.

As you can see in the gallery, they’ll even come with alternate faces, which seems to be a trend with Alter lately. I am loving the purple theme on Tokiya Ichinose, but Otoya Ittoki has some rockin’ red hair. They are set for a 2013 release and given that they are painted already I think we can safely assume they will be late spring or early summer. Oh, and we’ve also got two new announcements: Masato Hijirikawa and Ren Jinguuji will also be added to the line!

[via sktbs]

Good Smile Company is doing a series of Petit Nendoroids from the series Uta no☆Prince-sama♪, which I think is a great starting point as for a show like this. Instead of getting one character at a time like you would with figmas, Nendos, and scaled stuff, you get 6 boys at once! The lineup is: Tokiya Ichinose, Shou Kurusu, Ren Jinguuji, Otoya Ittoki, Masato Hijirikawa, and Natsuki Shinomiya. These were all announced at Wonder Festival but now they are all painted & sculpted, which means the set should go up for order soon!

[via GSC_GUMA's Twitter]
