Well, technically we got to July as soon as possible. AmiAmi decided to combine half of our July with our August stuff–the end of August to boot, so we had to wait a whole month for some of these beauties! Of course, we’re never really in a huge rush to get figures–we prefer to get them in small batches, so I can open one at a time and admire them all individually. So who did we get in our July order? Several rows over from the vinyl section is a lot farther than you’d think with crowds that slow to a crawl! This year, however, they landed in a space smack-dab in the middle of the vinyl toy section, and their booth was pretty hard to get into with all the people drifting in and out!

They had several exclusive releases, but the main highlight of their booth was all of the customs. There were works from Jeremiah Ketner, DrilOne, Brandt Peters, Kathie Oilvas, J*Ryu, Grimsheep, Squink, Rsinart, Chuckboy, Southerndrawl, Leecifer, Betso, Travis Lampe, and several more! There was something for everyone, and I even managed to snag one myself. See that clear mini Masao Skelve in the gallery? Well, that baby is currently sitting on my shelf! So hit the jump and check out the ridiculous selection of goods Dragatomi had to offer and if anything catches your eye, see if it’s still available on Dragatomi’s website for purchase!

Big banner in the back, counter to purchase things, display cases on the side. But Giant Robot always breaks this trend with a rather awesome booth setup, where there is a square of tables and the counter is on the inside. They also surround their booth with lanterns, giving it a decidedly Asian feel.

However, the design wasn’t the only thing to like about Giant Robot’s booth! They had the gorgeous prototype of Jason Limon’s Specimen No. 1, which we have already showed you, but there were a lot more figures on display. Most notably, they had all of Mari Inukai’s amazing Sekaiseifukudan line for sale, which I have been drooling over since they were first shown off. Sadly they are out of my price range, but it seems like quite a few found new homes during the convention! There were also goods from many other artists, including the kaiju Bossy Bears from Uglydoll, and tons of merchandise. Hit the jump to check it all out!
