Featuring Cyclops, Beast, Jubilee, and Wolverine so far, these flat-colored figures bring that iconic show from the screen to real life. I really love the color choice here and lack of shading as it fits with the style of the original quite well and I really love that these are all quite whimsical as well. My personal favorite is Beast and his suave look, but all four are quite great, and at about $40 a figure, these are quite affordable too. Who do you want to see added to the line? Let us know in the comments!

Well don’t worry, friends, the Marvel line is here to save the day! Just kidding, they are pretty strange too. Unless, you know, futuristic gladiator Wolverine is a totally normal thing I’ve somehow missed out on. At least Doctor Strange looks pretty true to form?

I will admit, Magneto’s scrap metal cape is absolutely amazing, and kind of ingenious. Could I do without the 6-pack armor? Yeah, maybe. But I want a metal cape of my own (that doesn’t weigh 6 tons, please).

Including an update on their Spiderverse ArtFX+ line: Agent Venom is sculpted! This is not the final sculpt, as his guns and other details will be changed before the paint, but it’s nice to see some progress. We also have the order the rest will come out (Spider-Man 2099, Carnage, and finally Venom) plus this interesting tidbit: they called this the “first wave” of Spiderverse figures. Which means we should get another set! Who would you like to see in it?

We also had a lot of ArtFX updates, like the limited edition black Deadpool and the crazy amount of accessories that will come with their Super Deadpool. There’s an afro, guys. Amazing.

But of course you have to bring out the big guns too, and few male Marvel characters are as popular as Wolverine. We saw the sculpt for this figure at New York Comic Con, so it’s no surprise that he is all painted for Toy Fair! I’m always impressed by the sculpting on these: they’re a very small scale, but Koto certainly didn’t skimp on the detail. Just look at the folds and ripples in his suit!

Well, as you can tell from the mere existence of this post, it most certainly arrived, and oh boy does it deliver!

I can’t even begin to describe just how incredibly stunning and inspiring this piece is to look at in person. The sculpting work is so out of this world that I can’t even think of anything remotely close to this level of detail, raw power, emotion, and expression of a character — seriously, it’s that good! The musculature looks so lifelike due to a ton of unique tricks, miniscule little hairs exist on his arms and head, and all around, this is hands down the best Wolverine figure to ever be produced. The regular face is great as is, but this bad boy comes with an alternate screaming face that is, quite possibly, the single greatest head sculpt I’ve ever seen put into production. So what’re you waiting for? Go look at this marvel right away in the gallery!

Sadly, for Toy Fair, the newest wasn’t there in person… yet (he may show up on Tuesday or Wednesday, so stay tuned for further updates!), but from the bit of art we saw as well as pictures of the sculpt that we cannot post here, HOLY CRAP THIS IS THE WOLVERINE TO SLAY ALL WOLVERINES!

Erick decided that this would be his last Wolverine statue so he brought out all the stops for this final figure. I really hope I get to see him in person before the end of the show because, seriously, it’s just THAT good. Also on hand were Psylocke and Juggernaut, who we’ve seen before, but both look just as great as before as they near their release dates in the upcoming months.

Focused more on Fine Art Statues rather than ArtFX, the Classic Avengers Hulk, X-Force Psylocke, Juggernaut, and Danger Room Sessions Wolverine were all very welcome additions. That’s right, the Juggernaut, bitch, and brown Wolverine are both coming! They’re entitled “legendary scale” but they’re about 1/3. Additions to the line so far include Iron Man, Wolverine, Wolf Predator, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Neytiri, and the Terminator. Because of their large scale and the attention to detail, these will cost a pretty penny-$1,600 each!

While I really love the idea of this line and the sculpts all look great, I have one issue with it–Neytiri isn’t 1/3 scale! Since she is about 9 feet tall in “real life,” a true 1/3 scale figure would be 36 inches. Since the figures in the line seem to be about 2 feet tall, maybe smaller, that puts Neytiri at about 1/5 scale! Then again, having a 3 foot tall sculpture would be a little extreme.
